Terms & Conditions

It is your responsibility to:

  • Ensure there are sufficient funds available in your checking or savings account to meet each withdrawal on the due date. If there are insufficient funds in your account, your financial institution may charge you a fee and/or interest. You are solely responsible for paying any fee and/or interest charged by your financial institution.
  • Check your account statement to verify that the amounts debited from your account are correct.
  • Advise us if the payment account is transferred or closed, or if the account details change.
  • Arrange an alternate payment method if you cancel the scheduled withdrawal.

Payment Obligations – On your due date, we will deduct your automatic Bill.com payment from the payment account you designated. Your billing statement will indicate that it is being paid through Bill.com when this service is activated. Automatic payments will be debited from your bank account or credit card on the payment due date indicated on your billing statement. When the due date is not a business day, Insight Accounting Solutions will withdraw from your funds on the next business day. For example, if the payment due date is on the 10th and the 10th falls on a Sunday then the withdrawal date would be the 11th, the next business day.

In the event that Insight Accounting Solutions makes a billing adjustment to the account, Insight Accounting Solutions will cancel the withdrawal and establish a new withdrawal for the amount and due date as indicated on the revised bill.

If you receive more than one disconnect notice or NSF check in any 15-month period, you will be removed from the automatic Bill.com program. If you need to update your checking or savings account information, you must either mail us a voided check for the new account included with this form, or update your banking information online or at our office. Your request must arrive in our office no later than 10 business days before the next scheduled transaction.

Check with your financial institution to determine if any additional charges for such a debit will apply to your account and ask how it will note descriptions of automatic debits on your statement. If the transaction is refused by your financial institution for any reason, including insufficient funds, closed account, or unauthorized account, Insight Accounting Solutions will not be able to process your payment. Your Insight Accounting Solutions account may be subject to additional charges if your payment is rejected, reversed or refused by your financial institution.

Cancellation – To cancel an automatic Bill.com withdrawal, you will need to notify Insight Accounting Solutions at least 10 business days before the transaction is scheduled to be made. Once the withdrawal is cancelled, you will be unable to make an online payment and will need to use a different payment option.

Your automatic Bill.com program enrollment will remain active and in effect unless Insight Accounting Solutions receives a cancellation notice 10 days in advance. Every effort will be made to honor requests. Upon written request, automatic debit service will be cancelled as soon as possible.

Confidentiality – We may share information we collect about you, except credit bureau information, with outside companies that are assisting us with servicing your account. Our agreements with these outside companies (service providers) require that they protect this information; they are only to use it to carry out the services they are performing for us.

Unauthorized Use – If you think your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us immediately by calling or writing us at the telephone number or address. You should also contact your financial institution. Call us immediately if any unauthorized payments appear on your bank account statement.

Termination – Participation is optional. We reserve the right to discontinue accepting automatic Bill.com payments at any time, for any reason without prior written notice. We may send notification of termination of automatic Bill.com anytime after the termination is effective. If we terminate, you still have to make payments. We also may temporarily discontinue accepting automatic Bill.com payments, with our sole discretion. Termination does not affect your rights and obligations for automatic Bill.com payments prior to termination.

Statement of Liability and Hold Harmless and Indemnification

Except as provided elsewhere in these Terms and Conditions, if we fail to complete a withdrawal on time or in the correct amount, we will pay for any fees or charges imposed by your financial institution that result from our error. Exceptions: (1) if through no fault of ours, you do not have enough money or sufficient credit available in or on your account to make your payment; (2) transfer of money from your bank/card account is restricted; (3) the automatic Bill.com system was not working; (4) circumstances beyond our control prevent payment despite reasonable precautions. Our liability is limited by law and limited to those damages actually caused. We are not liable if (1) you fail to use the automatic Bill.com program properly; or (2) you do not request or otherwise initiate a recurring or one-time payment sufficiently in advance of your payment due date; or (3) your financial institution refuses to honor the debt; or (4) your instructions are lost or delayed in transmission to us; or (5) a reasonable security concern, such as an unauthorized use, causes us not to make the payment; or (6) your account is closed; or (7) the automatic Bill.com program has been terminated or suspended.

These terms and conditions do not supersede, modify or in any way mitigate your obligation to be bound by and comply with all applicable rules or regulations related to your service. INSIGHT ACCOUNTING SOLUTIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR FOR THE LOSS OF PROFIT, REVENUE OR DATA WHICH ARISE FROM OR IS RELATED TO AUTOMATIC PAY PLAN. IN ADDITION, YOU INDEMNIFY AND HOLD INSIGHT ACCOUNTING SOLUTIONS HARMLESS FROM ANY ACTIONS, CLAIMS, DAMAGES, LIABILITIES OR LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE USE OF AUTOMATIC BILL.COM PLAN and any service provided thereunder.
